2012 Daytona Bike Week: Just like SEMA

The Daytona Bike Week in March offers a unique opportunity to marvel at some incredible motorcycles, from artistic choppers to race-prepared superbikes, not to mention V8-powered monsters and others that use WWII aircraft engines. During these ten days, madness and excess take over the city.

Bike Week, which is celebrating its 71th anniversary this year, also serves as a window to all the motorcycle industry has to offer. It's your chance to see, feel, and learn about anything and everything that touches the sport, with more than 300 outfitters and distributors on hand. The various exhibits turn into full-on spectacles, and fans can even tune their bikes and gauge the results on mobile dynos.

Everyone is sure to find something to their liking: forks, seats, handlebars, frames, wheels, engines, audio systems, lights, performance parts, etc. The Daytona Bike Week is like SEMA on two wheels.

Today's photo gallery provides an overview of this fantastic outdoor show – undoubtedly the world's largest of its kind. Enjoy!
